1. The Bible
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and is worthy of all worship and obedience.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. He will return again in power and glory.
John 1:1,14; Luke 1:34–35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, and empowers Christians to live godly lives. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an experience distinct from salvation, with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues, and in the ongoing operation of the gifts of the Spirit.
John 16:8; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11We believe that all people have sinned and are in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works. Through salvation, a person is forgiven, made new, and restored into relationship with God.
Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; 2 Corinthians 5:17We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. The Church exists to worship God, build up believers, and reach the world with the message of the Gospel.
Ephesians 1:22–23; Matthew 28:19–20We believe in the Lord's Supper (Communion) as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice. It is a time to reflect on His body and blood and to proclaim His death until He returns.
1 Corinthians 11:23–26We believe that healing is provided through the atonement of Jesus Christ and is available today. God heals through prayer, faith, and His power according to His will.
Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14–16We believe in the personal and imminent return of Jesus Christ. He will come again to gather His people and establish His kingdom.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 22:12We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who have placed their faith in Christ will enjoy eternal life with God, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation from God.
John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15These beliefs form the foundation of our faith and guide our mission as a church. We are committed to living out the truth of God's Word and helping others encounter Jesus Christ.
