Our Mission

How we live the Great Commission in our city.

Our Mission

Jesus gave His church two clear directives: to preach the gospel and to make disciples.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

(Mark 16:15)

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you."

(Matthew 28:19–20)

Our mission is built on these two foundations.

First, we are called to reach those who are far from God with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…"

(Romans 1:16)

Second, we are committed to making disciples by helping people grow in God's Word and become mature followers of Christ.

"Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus."

(Colossians 1:28)

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God… that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

(2 Timothy 3:16–17)

Our Vision

Our vision is to reflect the heart and ministry of Jesus in our world today.

When Jesus began His ministry, He declared:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

(Luke 4:18–19)

In the same way, we desire to be a church that reflects Jesus and continues His work in our generation.

"As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."

(John 20:21)

We are called to bring hope to the hurting, freedom to the bound, healing to the broken, and the message of reconciliation to all.

"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation."

(2 Corinthians 5:18)
